It seems like almost every day is some sort of national food day.  And to be honest, we’re fine with that!  Who doesn’t love an excuse to enjoy their favorite food?  Well today happens to be National Cheeseburger Day, and since we’re also in the last days of summer before the autumnal equinox, it seems especially appropriate to celebrate this cookout classic.  Warning – this post will make you hungry, and possibly drool.

The Best Cheeseburger Ever

How could we not start off the list with apparently the best cheeseburger ever?  Featuring oozing cheese, diced onions, and sliced pickles this burger is a classic that you can’t help but enjoy.

Savory, sweet, spicy, tangy – the last burger on our list has it all.  It may not be what you traditionally think of as a cheeseburger since goat cheese doesn’t melt like other cheeses.  But this is a great end of summer burger when peaches are at their peak ripeness and flavor.  You could also substitute peach chutney if desired.
